As many of you know, our good friends endured a horrible tragedy yesterday as their restaurant burnt practically to the ground.
We all know what a tough job market it is out there, with the fire loss of Emory's, [my husbands] Brian and I are pulling together funds for Emory's employees as Thanksgiving is just around the corner.
We are donating $500 toward grocery certificates. My Mom and Dad are also donating $500. $1000 so far will get 50 employees a $15 gift certificate. Our goal is to get each employee at least $100.
Is there anyone else who would like to donate to help Emory's "family"? Any donation would help!!

Thanks!
Our check is on the way, Debbie! We've also made a donation for the employees at Cascade Bank in Silver Lake. Our hearts go out to Emory, Molly, and all of the staff at the resturant. Emory's was our destination-of-choice for business lunches, family and office celebrations, and quiet dinners after a hard work day. It always felt like we were coming home (except with far better food!) We will anxiously await the re-opening. Please put us down for a reservation for 12 for Thanksgiving 2010! Claudia & Pat McClain
